The Dinwiddie Generals walloped the visiting Matoaca Warriors football team by a score of 36-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Generals face the Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Dinwiddie will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 48-13 league loss to Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA).

The Warriors (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Crimson Wave go into the Central challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Petersburg triumphed over Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA), 20-3, in a league test.
