The Gig Harbor Tides football team (Gig Harbor, WA), dropped 39-23 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA)

The Abes (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA). The T-Birds enter the 3A Puget Sound - Narrows contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Mount Tahoma gained a win over Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA), 47-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Tides confront the Silas Rams (Tacoma, WA) in a 3A Puget Sound - Narrows bout, on Friday, October 3. Gig Harbor will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 26-10 league loss to Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA).
