In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Northumberland Christian Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 win over the Loyalsock Township Lancers.
The Warriors (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against Belleville Mennonite (Belleville, PA). The Thunder enter the Allegheny Christian outing with a 6-5 record.
Next up, the Lancers play the Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) in a PIAA District IV-A outing, on Wednesday, October 1. Loyalsock Township will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
