September 29, 2024: Wheaton, IL 60187 Fans at Sunday's non-league battle between the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) and the host Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL), saw Maine South's soccer squad prevail over Wheaton-Warrenville South by a count of 4-0.
The Hawks (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors enter the Central Suburban - South battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Deerfield by Maine East (Park Ridge, IL), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers battle the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) in a DuKane battle, on Tuesday, October 1. Wheaton-Warrenville South will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 3-3 non-league Palatine (Palatine, IL).
