Maryland High School Soccer - Laurel knocks off Douglass
September 30, 2024: Laurel, MD 20707 In Monday's non-league outing, the host Laurel Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Douglass Eagles.
The Spartans (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Mustangs go into the Prince George's County 4A outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Bladensburg got by Suitland (Forestville, MD), 11-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing, on Monday, October 7. Douglass will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Clippers go into the outing with a 7-0 record after their 10-0 league win over International High School at Largo (Largo, MD).
