January 10, 2020: Clever, MO 65631 The Clever Blue Jays basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Monett Cubs to 51 in the Blue Jays non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Jays now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hartville for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 23.
The Cubs now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host McDonald County for a Big 8 outing on Tuesday, January 14. Monett will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 61-46 non-league loss to Lamar (Lamar, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.
