The St. Michael the Archangel Warriors routed the visiting Wakefield Fighting Owls basketball team by a final score of 65-34 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Christchurch School Seahorses (Christchurch, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 13. St. Michael the Archangel will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Seahorses enter the game with a 3-8 record after their 81-33 non-league loss to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA).

With the defeat, Wakefield moves to 3-3 on the year. The Fighting owls travel to Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA) to face the Falcons in a VISAA Division IV game on Thursday, January 12.
