Nebraska High School Basketball - Lourdes Central Catholic nudges Auburn
January 10, 2023: Auburn, NE 68305 Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE), 35-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lourdes Central Catholic upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Knights host Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Weeping Water won 64-23 in their recent non-league bout against Mead (Mead, NE)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE) in a C1 District 1 bout, on Friday, January 13. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Jeffs go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 28-26 non-league loss to Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE).
