In Tuesday's league outing, the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), by a margin of 50-32.

The Nighthawks (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC). The Colts go into the non-league outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Albemarle School was beaten by Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC), 55-41, in a league outing.

The Aces now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Riverside-Martin for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 11. Holmes will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 60-8 league win over South Creek (Robersonville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-8.
