South Dakota High School Basketball - Timber Lake overwhelms McIntosh
January 10, 2023: McIntosh, SD 57641 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD) and the host McIntosh Tigers (McIntosh, SD), saw Timber Lake's basketball squad wallop McIntosh by a tally of 56-16.
With the victory, Timber Lake improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sully Buttes (Onida, SD) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Sully Buttes lost 56-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Miller (Miller, SD)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD) in a B Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 12. McIntosh will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 50-45 league loss to Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD).
