Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Helena College and Career Academy tops Slaughter Community Charter
January 10, 2024: Greensburg, LA 70441 St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks (Greensburg, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA), 49-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Helena College and Career Academy upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Doyle (Livingston, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 21-3. Doyle won 60-23 in their recent non-league bout against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA)
Next up, the Knights play the Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 54-45 league win over Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA).
