South Dakota High School Basketball - Elkton/Lake Benton tipped by St. Mary
January 11, 2022: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 The St. Mary Cardinals basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Elkton/Lake Benton Elks to 51 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oldham-Ramona/Rutland for a B Region 4 contest on Thursday, January 13. St. Mary will meet a Raiders team coming off a 48-40 non-league loss to James Valley Christian (Huron, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 2-6.
The Elks (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington (Arlington, SD). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Arlington nudged Deuel (Clear Lake, SD), 55-13, in a non-league contest.
