Nebraska High School Basketball - Weeping Water can't hold off Mead
January 11, 2022: Weeping Water, NE 68463 The Mead Raiders basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host Weeping Water Indians to 35 in the Raiders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boys Town for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 13. Mead will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 37-23 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian School (Bellevue, NE). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-7.
The Indians (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Johnson County Central was nudged by Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE), 45-32, in a non-league contest.
