The Monroe Golden Tornadoes bounced the host Randolph-Clay Red Devils basketball squad by a final score of 61-33 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Golden Tornadoes face the Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) in a AAA Region 1 outing, on Friday, January 17. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record.

The Red Devils (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Pirates enter the A D2 Region 1 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Miller County routed Terrell County (Dawson, GA), 46-37, in a league outing.
