Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) and the host Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS), saw Morton's basketball squad hold off Forest by a tally of 54-49.

With the victory, Morton improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Raleigh (Raleigh, MS) to play the Lions in a 3A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, January 14. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Raleigh lost 55-23 in their recent league challenge against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS)
