South Dakota High School Basketball - Arlington overwhelms Deuel
January 12, 2021: Arlington, SD 57212 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD) and the visiting Deuel Cardinals (Clear Lake, SD), saw Arlington's basketball squad wallop Deuel by a tally of 45-15.
With the victory, Arlington improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD) to confront the Elks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 15. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Elkton/Lake Benton lost 54-20 in their recent league challenge against St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 14. Deuel will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 53-25 non-league loss to Webster (Webster, SD).
