Virginia High School Basketball - Deep Creek crushes Ocean Lakes
January 12, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ocean Lakes Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA), 63-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Deep Creek upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Hornets host Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Tigers in a Southeastern bout on Saturday, January 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Oscar Smith lost 44-35 in their recent league bout against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA)
Next up, the Dolphins play the Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach bout, on Friday, January 13. Ocean Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 40-22 non-league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA).
