New Mexico High School Basketball - Gadsden overwhelms Deming
January 12, 2024: Anthony, NM 88021 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) and the visiting Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), saw Gadsden's basketball squad wallop Deming by a count of 54-17.
With the victory, Gadsden upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cathedral (El Paso, TX) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 13-11. Cathedral won 46-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverside (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 13. Deming will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 44-26 non-league loss to Cliff (Cliff, NM).
