Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) and the visiting Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI), saw Lincoln's basketball squad hold off Middletown by a tally of 43-41.

With the victory, Lincoln improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI) to confront the Mariners in a Division 3 challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Mariners come into the challenge with a record of 8-0.

Next up, the Islanders confront the Toll Gate Titans (Warwick, RI) in a Division 3 challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Middletown will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record.
