The Fruitdale Pirates basketball team (Fruitdale, AL), was trounced 73-22 in Monday's league challenge with the host McIntosh Demons (McIntosh, AL)

The Demons (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL). The Indians come into the 1A Area 1 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Southern Choctaw trounced Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL), 65-16, in a league challenge.
