The South Adams Starfires basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Adams Central Flying Jets to 32 in the Starfires league victory on Thursday.

The Starfires now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Recovery for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15. South Adams will battle a Indians team coming off a 47-28 league loss to Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH). The Indians record now stands at 2-11.

The Flying Jets (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Eastbrook (Marion, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Eastbrook crushed Oak Hill (Converse, IN), 54-27, in a league match.
