Continental Pirates (Continental, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fort Jennings Musketeers (Fort Jennings, OH), 42-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Continental upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Pirates travel to North Central (Pioneer, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Musketeers play the McComb Panthers (McComb, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Fort Jennings will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 46-35 league loss to Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH).
