Texas High School Basketball - Veterans Memorial ripped by Tivy

The Tivy Antlers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Veterans Memorial Patriots to 37 in the Antlers league triumph on Friday.

The Antlers now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smithson Valley for a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Tivy will meet a Rangers team coming off a 64-62 league win over Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-15.

The Patriots (22-4) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Cougars enter the 5A Region IV District 26 contest with a 6-20 record. In their last contest, Canyon was routed by Wagner (San Antonio, TX), 69-57, in a league contest.
