Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 71-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Defiance upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Indians host Staunton (Staunton, VA) to clash with the Storm in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Staunton lost 57-31 in their recent league bout against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA)

Next up, the Little Giants clash with the Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Waynesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 48-36 league loss to Amherst County (Amherst, VA).
