The Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD) basketball nipped the host Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), 63-61 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD). The Raiders go into the Prince George's County 4A test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Eleanor Roosevelt was tipped by Laurel (Laurel, MD), 70-58, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North for a Freelance test on Tuesday, January 16. Central will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 75-73 league win over Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
