The Narragansett Mariners basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host East Greenwich Avengers to 43 in the Mariners league triumph on Monday.

The Mariners now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chariho for a Division II game on Wednesday, January 15. Narragansett will play a Chargers team coming off a 76-72 league win over Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Chargers record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, East Greenwich falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Avengers travel to Moses Brown (Providence, RI) to play the Quakers in a Division II game on Friday, January 17.
