Maryland High School Basketball - Tome defeats Greenwood Mennonite
January 13, 2026: North East, MD 21901 The Tome Titans (North East, MD) basketball were winner over the visiting Greenwood Mennonite Flames (Greenwood, DE), 79-69 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Titans now hold a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aquinas Academy for a Mid-Atlantic Independent test on Friday, January 16. Tome will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 57-30 league loss to Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Kingsville, MD). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-7.
The Flames (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Faith Baptist School (Salisbury, MD). The Falcons come into the Delaware Valley Christian - South test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Faith Baptist School beat Cross Christian Academy (Seaford, DE), 52-27, in a league test.
