The Yorktown Wildcats basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats to 38 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 16-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pettus for a 2A Region IV District 31 game on Friday, January 16. Yorktown will confront a Eagles team coming off a 58-48 league win over Kenedy (Kenedy, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-13.

The Bobcats (19-7) will now prepare for their outing against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Marlins go into the 2A Region IV District 31 game with a 20-4 record. In their last game, Port Aransas nudged Refugio (Refugio, TX), 52-46, in a league game.
