Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northwest Classen Knights (Oklahoma City, OK), 60-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Southeast upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Marshall (Oklahoma City, OK) to meet the Bears in a All-City contest on Friday, January 17. The Bears enter the contest with a record of 2-2. Marshall won 57-27 in their recent league contest against Douglass (Oklahoma City, OK)

The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Comets enter the All-City contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Classen SAS ran past Dale (Dale, OK), 84-58, in a non-league contest.
