Missouri High School Basketball - Winston crushes DeKalb
January 14, 2021: DeKalb, MO 64440 Winston Red Birds (Winston, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host DeKalb Tigers (DeKalb, MO), 63-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Winston upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Red Birds travel to Pattonsburg (Pattonsburg, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Pattonsburg won 62-51 in their recent non-league bout against Stewartsville/Osborn (Stewartsville, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO) in a Highway 275 bout, on Tuesday, January 19. DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 55-46 non-league loss to Falls City (Falls City, NE).
