Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA), 55-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Buchanan (Clovis, CA) to play the Bears in a bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Buchanan lost 44-41 in their recent non-league bout against Lemoore (Lemoore, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 28. Washington Union will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
