Iowa High School Basketball - Kuemper topped by Bishop Heelan Catholic
January 14, 2023: Sioux City, IA 51105 The Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Kuemper Knights to 49 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sioux City East for a Missouri River contest on Monday, January 16. Bishop Heelan Catholic will battle a Black Raiders team coming off a 60-46 league win over Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 13-0.
The Knights (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Harlan (Harlan, IA). The Cyclones come into the Hawkeye Ten contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Harlan prevailed over Atlantic (Atlantic, IA), 72-64, in a league contest.
