The Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ) basketball nipped the host Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ), 38-36 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Silver Knights (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Gateway Regional (Woodbury Heights, NJ). The Gators go into the Colonial test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Gateway Regional was tipped by Haddonfield (Haddonfield, NJ), 44-25, in a league test.

The Braves now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of Mercy Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Absegami will encounter a Villagers squad coming off a 53-31 non-league loss to Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ). The Villagers record now stands at 4-5.
