January 14, 2023: New Wilmington, PA 16142 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), by a margin of 48-34.
The Greyhounds (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Rockets enter the District 10 Region 4 match with a 1-11 record.
With the defeat, General McLane moves to 6-4 on the year. The Lancers host Northwestern (Albion, PA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, January 16. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 8-4. Northwestern won 45-19 in their recent league match against Girard (Girard, PA)
