The Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets (Grand Island, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Franklin Flyers (Franklin, NE), 56-35 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Red Hornets now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Newman Grove/St. Edward for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Heartland Lutheran will play a Panthers team coming off a 57-34 non-league loss to High Plains (Polk, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Flyers host Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Blue Hill lost 65-43 in their recent non-league bout against Gibbon (Gibbon, NE)
