The Little Wound Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Todd County Falcons to 48 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Wakpala for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Little Wound will confront a Sioux team coming off a 70-43 non-league loss to Lemmon (Lemmon, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Todd County falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Falcons host St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD) to confront the Warriors in a A Region 7 game on Saturday, January 18.
