In Tuesday's non-league test, the Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars (Lyons, NE), by a score of 49-41.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Madison Dragons (Madison, NE) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 17. Tekamah-Herman will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 66-51 non-league win over Walthill (Walthill, NE).
