The South Charlotte Thunder basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions to 35 in the Thunder league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunder now have a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Surry HomeSchool for a North Carolina Home Education - West game on Friday, January 17. South Charlotte will confront a Runnin' Patriots team coming off a 59-9 league loss to South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC). The Runnin' Patriots record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Greater Cabarrus Stallions falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to NC Heat (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Heat in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Heat go into the game with a record of 7-4. NC Heat won 48-26 in their recent non-league game against Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC)
