Ohio High School Basketball - Roosevelt tops Aurora
January 15, 2021: Kent, OH 44240 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH) and the visiting Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH), saw Roosevelt's basketball squad knock off Aurora by a count of 50-41.
With the victory, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rough Riders travel to Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH) to play the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 9. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next, the Greenmen encounter the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs (Stow, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 16. Aurora will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 39-33 league win over Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH).
