Texas High School Soccer - Parkland nudges Frenship
January 29, 2022: El Paso, TX 79924 The crowd at Saturday's league test between the Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX), saw Parkland's soccer squad get by Frenship by a count of 1-0.
The Matadors now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to El Dorado for a 5A Region 1 District 2 test on Tuesday, February 1. Parkland will meet a Aztecs squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Canutillo (Canutillo, TX). The Aztecs record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Frenship drops to 9-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Midland Legacy (Midland, TX) to meet the Rebels in a 6A Region 1 District 2 test on Tuesday, February 1. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 7-3. Midland Legacy won 4-0 in their recent league test against Abilene (Abilene, TX)
