January 15, 2025: Washington, DC 20011 Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Eastern Ramblers (Washington, DC), 73-52 in a league match.
With the victory, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Dunbar (Washington, DC) to encounter the Crimson Tide in a DCIAA challenge on Friday, January 17. The Crimson Tide come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Dunbar lost 55-52 in their recent league challenge against McKinley Tech (Washington, DC)
In their next game, the Ramblers encounter the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A challenge, on Friday, January 17. Eastern will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 59-53 league win over School Without Walls (Washington, DC).
