Nebraska High School Basketball - Paxton tops Creek Valley
January 16, 2020: Paxton, NE 69155 Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) followers went home happy Thursday as they observed their basketball team prevail over the visiting Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE), 50-33 in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a D2 District 10 match, on Friday, January 17. Paxton will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 50-41 non-league loss to South Platte (Big Springs, NE).
With the defeat, Creek Valley moves to 3-8 on the year. The Storm travel to Sutherland (Sutherland, NE) to meet the Sailors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Sailors go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Sutherland lost 62-36 in their recent non-league bout against Cambridge (Cambridge, NE)
