South Dakota High School Basketball - Miller thwarts Sully Buttes
January 16, 2025: Miller, SD 57362 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) and the visiting Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD), observed Miller's basketball team knock off Sully Buttes by a score of 60-52.
The Rustlers (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Crow Creek (Stephan, SD). The Chieftains come into the A Region 6 challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Crow Creek prevailed over McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD), 90-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sully Buttes will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 76-63 non-league loss to Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD).
