Maryland High School Basketball - Severna Park toppled by South River
January 16, 2025: Severna Park, MD 21146 South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Severna Park Falcons (Severna Park, MD), 45-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South River upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Seahawks travel to Old Mill (Millersville, MD) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Old Mill won 29-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Pikesville (Baltimore, MD)
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Severna Park will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 53-39 league loss to Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD).
