The North Marion Colts (Citra, FL) basketball edged the host Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL), 48-45 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Colts now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mainland for a non-league test on Saturday, January 17. North Marion will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to Andrew Jackson (Jacksonville, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 15-2.
