Colorado High School Basketball - Mountain Vista thwarts Heritage

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) and the visiting Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO), observed Mountain Vista's basketball team knock off Heritage by a score of 76-64.

The Golden Eagles (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Mustangs come into the 6A/5A Continental challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Ponderosa was knocked off by Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO), 77-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 17. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 69-62 non-league loss to Holy Family (Broomfield, CO).
