Arizona High School Basketball - Thunderbird holds off Greenway

January 16, 2026: Phoenix, AZ 85023

The Thunderbird Titans basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Greenway Demons to 39 in the Titans league triumph on Friday.

The Titans now have a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Shadow Mountain for a 4A Skyline game on Thursday, January 22.

With the loss, Greenway falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Demons host Cactus (Glendale, AZ) to confront the Cobras in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 21. The Cobras go into the game with a record of 1-11.
