The George School Cougars basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Germantown Friends to 17 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrack Hebrew Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. George School will meet a Cougars team coming off a 62-25 league win over Mastery (Camden, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 9-6.

The (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Moorestown Friends (Moorestown, NJ). The Foxes enter the Friends Schools contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Moorestown Friends was routed by Westtown (West Chester, PA), 88-14, in a league contest.
