The North Laurel Jaguars basketball team scored 87 points and limited the host Jackson County Generals to 44 in the Jaguars league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pineville for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. North Laurel will confront a Mountain Lions team coming off a 80-43 league win over Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Jackson County falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Generals host Casey County (Liberty, KY) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 0-13. Casey County lost 67-61 in their recent non-league game against Lee County (Beattyville, KY)
