In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Richard Montgomery Rockets basketball team scored a close 49-44 triumph over the Kennedy Cavaliers.

The Rockets (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Churchill was tipped by Poolesville (Poolesville, MD), 57-44, in a non-league contest.
